The Astrolight Festival at Scienceworks this year is featuring astronomers, scientists, stargazers and artists to present a night starring astronomy and light.
Come join us for a special evening of talks and performances for all ages, interactive activities, Planetarium and Lightning Room shows and much more.
This year we’re rocketing into space with speakers talking about human spaceflight and the Australian Space Agency.
Make sure you head over to the speakers and activities program to plan your flight path for the evening. You can pack a picnic to enjoy under the stars – otherwise, don’t worry, we’ve got you completely covered for food.
Satay Truck – the first Indonesian food truck in Australia will be serving authentic Indonesian food all through the festival.
Crepes for Change, a not for profit organisation will be set up to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings and raising money for homelessness.
Of course you can also eat at the Scienceworks Cafe where they will be serving all your dietary needs including alcoholic beverages. Reminder that there is no food or drink allowed in the exhibition spaces as per usual but we do have a large marquee on the arena so you can enjoy your dinner while soaking up the atmosphere.
You can follow the food trucks on Twitter and Instagram to get the most up to date location and menu details. But tonight they are coming to you!
See you tonight at Scienceworks.
